Ben Mazer and Stephen Sturgeon will be reading from their latest
work on Wednesday, September 26, 2007.
Sturgeon's poetry has appeared in Agenda, Fulcrum,
Harvard Review, and Jacket. He has recently
been appointed editor of Fulcrum, and has prepared a
critical edition of Wyndham Lewis's first novel, Tarr.
Mazer is most recently the author of Johanna Poems.
He is the editor of Landis Everson's Everything Preserved:
Poems 1955-2005 and The Complete Poems of John Crowe
Ransom. He is a contributing editor to Fulcrum,
for which he has edited features on "The Berkeley Renaissance"
and "Poetry and Harvard in the 1920s. "
The reading will commence at 7 PM at Pierre Menard Gallery at
10 Arrow Street in Harvard Square, up Arrow St. from Cafe Pamplona.
Admission is free and a reception will follow, with books available
for purchase and signing.
