Unsolicited submissions must arrive by mail between June 1 and August 31 and be accompanied by a brief cover letter. Include a return envelope with sufficient postage or IRCs if a response is desired. Manuscripts cannot be returned.

All regional orthographic and punctuation conventions are acceptable.

No unsolicited visual art submissions.

No payment for unsolicited contributions except in copies.

No email submissions. Accepted work will be requested in an electronic format.

No simultaneous submissions. Our response time is 1-6 months.

Fulcrum cannot republish any writing that has appeared elsewhere, whether in print, on CD, DVD, cassette, video, or online (including but not limited to websites, discussion boards, forums, social networks, bulletins, archived mailing lists, and personal blogs).

Fulcrum has highly particular tastes. Reading the journal before submitting work is recommended. Click here to order an issue of Fulcrum.
