Fulcrum welcomes submissions
of previously unpublished poetry and essays on poetry, poets, poetic
form, poetic history, the philosophy of poetry, poetics, aesthetics
and related subjects. We do not accept or print book reviews.
Unsolicited submissions must arrive by mail between June 1 and
August 31 and be accompanied by a brief cover letter. Include a
return envelope with sufficient postage or IRCs if a response is
desired. Manuscripts cannot be returned.
All regional orthographic and punctuation conventions are acceptable.
No unsolicited visual art submissions.
No payment for unsolicited contributions except in copies.
No email submissions. Accepted work will be requested in an electronic
format.
No simultaneous submissions. Our response time is 1-6 months.
Fulcrum cannot republish any writing that has appeared
elsewhere, whether in print, on CD, DVD, cassette, video, or online
(including but not limited to websites, discussion boards, forums,
social networks, bulletins, archived mailing lists, and personal
blogs).
Fulcrum has highly particular tastes. Reading the journal
